Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and execute solutions that enable product teams to operate containerized services effortlessly.

• Establish internal cloud infrastructure best practices, guidelines, and documentation.

• Develop and sustain code for centrally managed services while enhancing security and reliability.

• Oversee centralized NATS messaging infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Offer support through a dedicated on-call rotation.

• Contribute to technical documentation and Architecture Decision Records.

• Construct a robust containerized environment on Azure and maintain a dependable, high-performance messaging framework.

• Advocate for automation and infrastructure-as-code to minimize manual work and enhance delivery efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in at least one general-purpose programming language, with a preference for Python or Go.

• Significant experience in deploying and optimizing solutions on Azure or GCP.

• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform.

• Familiarity with containerization ecosystems like Kubernetes and associated tools.

• Comprehension of Linux, networking, web applications, and fundamental database concepts.

• Experience in monitoring server and application performance.

• Skilled in troubleshooting within distributed environments.

• Comprehensive knowledge of distributed systems and message brokers.

• Comfortable taking ownership of critical infrastructure components.

• Preference for candidates located in CET+/-2 time zone.

• Currently, applications from individuals based in Spain, France, Belgium, Switzerland, or Germany cannot be accepted.
