This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure using AWS.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code through Terraform or comparable tools.
• Oversee container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Ensure effective disaster recovery and high availability strategies.
• Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for swift and dependable deployments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.
• Integrate automated testing and security checks within delivery workflows.
• Implement logging, alerting, and observability tools to monitor the performance of infrastructure and applications.
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, outages, or system health concerns.
• Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve deployment failures.
• Ensure alignment of infrastructure and delivery processes with security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Apply security patches and updates to infrastructure and platform components.
• Partner with software engineers to ensure that development practices adhere to operational best practices.
• Lead technical decision-making concerning infrastructure and platform initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and advocate for DevOps best practices across teams.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in senior Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering positions.
• Strong proficiency with the AWS cloud platform.
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar tools).
• Strong understanding of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking, system administration, and cloud security practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in leading projects and influencing engineering decisions.
• Nice to Have: Background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
• Programming skills in TypeScript, Python, or Go.
