Senior PHP Developer – Marketplace Integrations, Logistics, Ecommerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable and robust solutions;

• Oversee and manage the technical debt associated with solutions;

• Engage actively in strategic discussions with the product and business teams;

• Manage the levels of platform obsolescence;

• Mentor colleagues through practices like pair programming and conducting code reviews;

• Drive ongoing improvements in the technology and solutions utilized;

• Foster a culture that emphasizes code review, DevOps, and secure development practices;

• Participate in all phases of designing high-criticality systems: analyze requirements, propose innovative solutions that deliver value to both technical and business domains, and pursue product enhancements;

• Ensure the quality of code and the observability of business and system metrics;

• Establish unit testing and automated testing protocols for developed products;

• Provide L4 technical support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in developing web software using languages such as PHP and associated frameworks;

• Proficient in code versioning with GitLab/GitHub;

• Familiarity with best practices including SOLID, Clean Code, and Design Patterns;

• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, DynamoDB, DocumentDB);

• Experience with key-value databases like Redis is advantageous;

• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and front-end frameworks;

• Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging, and event-oriented systems (Kafka, AMQ, SQS, SNS, etc.);

• Understanding of automated testing, unit testing, and principles of secure development;

• Proficiency in technical English;

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (APM, logs, metrics, tracing);

• Background in microservices architecture;

• Experience with complex, large-scale systems;
