Senior PHP Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain web applications utilized by Locaweb's end users

• Comprehend business needs and convert them into feasible, scalable, and sustainable technical solutions

• Actively engage in agile ceremonies, technical refinement sessions, planning, and architectural discussions

• Develop comprehensive features, working across both the backend and frontend of applications

• Guarantee delivery quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering best practices

• Diagnose and resolve bugs, failures, and performance challenges in production environments

• Contribute to the advancement of application architecture, always prioritizing maintainability, security, and scalability

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Product, Design, QA, and other technical domains

• Offer technical support to the team, disseminating knowledge and enhancing the quality of deliverables

• Work independently in managing tasks, responsibly prioritizing deliveries, and effectively handling your own workload

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in developing applications with PHP

• Background as a full-stack developer, proficient in both backend and frontend development

• Strong understanding of creating and utilizing REST APIs

• Experience in solution and architecture design

• Familiarity with relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization

• Exposure to AI tools

• Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and/or end-to-end tests

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including SOLID principles, clean code, code review, and refactoring

• Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows

• Experience in agile environments, actively participating in refinements, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

• Ability to grasp business requirements and articulate them technically with precision

• Self-driven individual with an ownership mindset, professional maturity, and strong communication skills
