This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Take full responsibility for Google Ads and Microsoft Ads from start to finish: including account structure, campaign management, bidding strategies, search-term maintenance, negative-keyword planning, audience targeting, and creative experimentation.
• Enhance cost efficiency and achieve profitable growth by balancing Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and volume with clear unit-economics objectives.
• Develop and manage your own reporting and monitoring systems: including spend pacing, CAC by funnel stage, payback analysis, and the necessary dashboards to keep you ahead of the account's performance.
• Actively incorporate AI tools into your daily tasks for tasks such as analysis, audits, ad optimization, and reporting.
• Establish and lead our paid social initiatives (starting with Meta) with systematic testing, clear success metrics, and transparent decision-making on whether to proceed or halt.
• Collaborate with the Head of Marketing on strategic planning, landing page optimization, and identifying new growth opportunities.
• Clearly communicate performance metrics, trends, and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, with a strong emphasis on Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, bidding strategies, account structure, negative-keyword strategies, audience insights).
• Experience managing an annual paid budget exceeding $1.2 million, with the ability to discuss the trade-offs between efficiency and volume at this scale.
• Proficient in data analysis. Comfortable working with numbers, creating personal reports, and knowledgeable in CAC, payback periods, LTV, conversion delays, and attribution models.
• Experience with Meta or paid social advertising, preferably involving the initiation or relaunch of a program.
• Strong preference for candidates with B2C subscription or freemium funnel experience (including trial-based funnels and multi-stage conversion tracking).
• Actively utilizes AI tools in their everyday workflow, rather than just being aware of them.
• A dedicated individual contributor, motivated by hands-on responsibilities and not seeking a transition into people management.
• Capable of working independently without extensive processes or guidance. Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to convey decisions and trade-offs effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willing to maintain a substantial overlap with US Eastern working hours for real-time collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
• Remote work
• Competitive salary
• Education stipend, internet stipend, wellness stipend
