This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• Oversee the creative strategy and messaging for various paid social accounts, managing the process from initial brief to final execution.
• Perform data-driven research to optimize messaging and briefs continuously, utilizing insights from advertising platforms and competitor analysis.
• Create high-impact creative concepts based on consumer insights and platform dynamics.
• Craft compelling copy and frameworks that shape perception and enhance performance.
• Work collaboratively with design, editing, and media buying teams to ensure cohesive creative execution.
• Guide and mentor junior creatives, fostering their growth in execution quality and strategic thought.
• Clearly present creative concepts and directions to both clients and internal teams with confidence.
• Convert performance metrics and qualitative feedback into actionable creative enhancements.
• Remain informed about emerging trends, cultural shifts, and innovative creative formats that drive results.
• Outstanding writing skills, particularly in short-form, digital-first content, supported by a relevant portfolio.
• A blend of strategic and creative thinking, equally reliant on intuition and data insights.
• A comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior, platform algorithms, and effective brand storytelling.
• Proven experience in creating performance-driven creative work that leads to tangible business outcomes, along with the ability to analyze performance data for creative adjustments.
• Strong leadership and communication capabilities, able to motivate creative teams.
• A passion for mentoring others and enhancing collective work quality.
• A curious mindset, self-starter attitude, and a genuine enthusiasm for crafting ideas that resonate emotionally.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
• Background in performance creative and a data-centric creative methodology.
• An impressive portfolio that highlights your strategic thinking, copywriting, and performance-oriented creativity across short-form and visual-centric content.
• Ability to analyze performance data to guide creative adjustments (experience with MotionApp is advantageous).
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams in fast-paced settings.
