Senior People Systems – Integrations Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end delivery of enhancements within Workday and the wider People Tech ecosystem, ensuring solutions are scalable and of high quality.

• Configure and oversee Workday HCM (including business processes, security, notifications, and reporting) throughout crucial employee lifecycle processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across People, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and BizTech to convert business requirements into effective system solutions.

• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance automation—utilizing AI-assisted workflows—to improve data integrity, minimize manual efforts, and elevate user experience across People systems.

• Ensure smooth interoperability among People systems (such as Workday, Adaptive, Ashby, and payroll providers), optimizing workflows end-to-end.

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems, exploring AI and automation tools (for example, Workato, AI-driven bots) to streamline data flows.

• Monitor the health of integrations, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis to guarantee reliability.

• Support workforce planning and the flow of headcount data, particularly between Workday and Adaptive.

• Aid in testing new functionalities and product releases, ensuring deployments are smooth and controlled.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation and establish best practices for system governance, change management, and ongoing support.

• Keep abreast of AI and automation trends in the HR Technology domain, proactively suggesting tools and strategies that enhance team efficiency and employee experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in a techno-functional role working with Workday HCM.

• Strong hands-on experience in configuring Workday (business processes, security, reporting, notifications).

• Demonstrated experience in building or supporting Workday integrations (including EIB, RaaS, Core Connectors, and Studio).

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration—bridging the gap between functional stakeholders (People, Finance, Payroll, BizTech) and technical implementation teams.

• Understanding of APIs, data flows, and integration patterns.

• Experience in troubleshooting integration failures and conducting root cause analysis.

• Familiarity with automation/iPaaS platforms (such as Workato) and comfort in working with AI-powered tools, with an eagerness to experiment as technology evolves.

• Strong aptitude for translating technical concepts into clear, easily understood language.

• Comfortable managing projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
