This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +14 more states.
β’ Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of enhancements within Workday and the wider People Tech ecosystem, ensuring the solutions are both scalable and of high quality.
β’ Configure and oversee Workday HCM (including business processes, security measures, notifications, and reporting) throughout essential employee lifecycle processes.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders from People, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and BizTech to effectively translate business requirements into viable system solutions.
β’ Identify and implement improvements in automation β incorporating AI-assisted workflows β to enhance data integrity, minimize manual efforts, and improve the user experience across People systems.
β’ Ensure seamless interoperability among People systems (such as Workday, Adaptive, Ashby, and payroll providers), optimizing workflows from start to finish.
β’ Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems while exploring AI and automation tools (e.g., Workato, AI-powered bots) to enhance data flow efficiency.
β’ Monitor the health of integrations, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis to guarantee reliability.
β’ Assist in workforce planning and manage headcount data flows, especially between Workday and Adaptive.
β’ Support testing initiatives for new functionalities and product releases, ensuring that deployments are smooth and controlled.
β’ Maintain comprehensive documentation and establish best practices for system governance, change management, and ongoing support.
β’ Stay informed on trends in AI and automation within the HR Technology sector, proactively suggesting tools and strategies that could enhance team efficiency and the employee experience.
β’ 4β6 years of experience in a techno-functional role with Workday HCM.
β’ Extensive hands-on experience with Workday configuration (including business processes, security, reporting, and notifications).
β’ Demonstrated experience in building or supporting Workday integrations (EIB, RaaS, Core Connectors, Studio).
β’ Experience in cross-functional collaboration β bridging the gap between functional stakeholders (People, Finance, Payroll, BizTech) and technical implementation teams.
β’ Knowledge of APIs, data flows, and integration patterns.
β’ Experience in troubleshooting integration failures and conducting root cause analysis.
β’ Familiarity with automation/iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato) and a willingness to work with AI-powered tools, embracing experimentation as the technology advances.
β’ Strong capability to convey technical concepts in clear, non-technical terms.
β’ Comfortable managing projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment.
