This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as a trusted consultant for people managers regarding organizational design, performance, succession planning, and leadership effectiveness.

• Utilize a data-driven approach to talent decisions, identifying potential risks early and crafting proactive strategies to address them before they escalate.

• Contribute to KOHO's People Enablement strategy for 2026, focusing specifically on compensation, performance, and the entire employee lifecycle.

• Support employees throughout their journey, from onboarding to transitions, ensuring consistency and care at every step.

• Proactively seek ways to enhance People Operations workflows, utilizing AI and automation to minimize manual tasks.

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of BambooHR data, serving as the custodian of the systems that employees depend on.

• Keep abreast of legislation, trends, and best practices that affect compensation, benefits, immigration, and people operations in both Canada and the US.

• Convert regulatory changes into clear internal guidelines, avoiding unnecessary bureaucratic processes.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in People Business Partnering, ideally with exposure to both the Canadian and US markets.

• Ability to function effectively as a strategic leader, taking ownership and accountability for outcomes.

• Proven analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple competing tasks and priorities successfully.

• In-depth knowledge and understanding of HR policies and processes.

• Familiarity with AI, as KOHO embraces an AI-native approach.
