This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Collaborate with our regional leadership and act as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition by comprehending hiring needs, position specifications, and search criteria.
• Develop and implement search strategies to attract both active and passive candidates through industry research, networking, cold calls, and advanced internet searches.
• Oversee the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process with a strong commitment to integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and proactive communication.
• Negotiate terms of employment including salary and benefits with the chosen candidate.
• Manage and improve APAC-focused pre-onboarding, onboarding, and offboarding procedures to ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide insights that can inform retention strategies.
• Collaborate with the global team to enhance ServiceNow (SNOW) for the APAC regions, refining ticketing workflows and knowledge base (KB) enhancements to promote self-service.
• Ensure compliance with APAC employment laws, mandatory training, audits, and local regulatory requirements.
• Lead People Ops international compliance initiatives and assist with audits.
• Utilize Workday and other tools to carry out regular data audits, generate regional reports, and provide valuable workforce insights for leadership.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency across HR processes, working closely with global and regional teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, promoting engagement, ensuring alignment with company values, and driving initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction.
• Offer guidance and support to managers and employees regarding employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Assist with APAC compensation and performance review cycles by preparing communications, coaching managers, and ensuring consistency and fairness.
• Work alongside HRBP team members aligned with executives on regional workforce planning, providing insights and tracking key business priorities and other projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRBP, TA, and HR Operations, specifically within the APAC region, focusing on improving employee lifecycle processes and programs.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements in the APAC region.
• Demonstrated ability to balance operational duties with strategic HRBP responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A collaborative mindset complemented by excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to addressing employee and manager challenges.
• Experience with Workday (mandatory), ServiceNow (preferred), Ashby (preferred), and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred, along with a local HR certification.
