📋 Description

• Design and enhance the comprehensive People Ops and Talent Acquisition operational framework, integrating AI agents and agentic workflows as the primary execution layer throughout onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle modifications, and the recruitment process.

• Create and implement AI agents to manage routine operational tasks from start to finish, including orchestrating onboarding tasks, compliance documentation, generating offer letters, scheduling interviews, and addressing tier-1 employee inquiries.

• Utilize AI to oversee and ensure compliance across multiple countries within our six operational regions, developing agentic checks to highlight risks, identify regulatory changes, and maintain our entity-level obligations without manual oversight.

• Develop AI-driven reporting and analytics for the People and Talent Acquisition functions, generating real-time dashboards, insights into the hiring funnel, and operational health metrics that the VP of People and pillar leads can utilize without needing to request them.

• Manage our HRIS, ATS, and broader People technology stack as a unified, AI-enhanced system, assessing new tools based on agent-readiness and API-first design rather than merely features.

• Leverage AI to bolster the Talent Acquisition function, focusing on pipeline forecasting, ensuring data integrity in recruiting, and funnel reporting, collaborating with hiring managers to integrate AI into their hiring data tracking and analysis.

• Oversee benefits administration and vendor management for our US entity, employing AI to optimize open enrollment, automate eligibility tracking, and provide utilization insights that inform future benefits strategies.

• Harness AI to create a seamless and high-quality employee experience at scale, proactively identifying friction points throughout the employee lifecycle and deploying agents or workflows to address them before they escalate into issues.

• Lead AI-driven process documentation and knowledge management within People Ops, ensuring every workflow is documented in a manner that is accessible to humans and executable by agents.

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Legal to utilize AI-enhanced workflows for cross-functional operations, including headcount planning, system access provisioning, and managing contracts and policies.

• Mentor and elevate the broader People team on AI fluency, agent design, and operational automation, exemplifying an AI-forward People Ops function in practice.

• Oversee AI governance for the People function, ensuring that our use of agents and AI tools is compliant, ethical, and aligned with our management of sensitive employee and candidate data on a global scale.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR Operations, including some leadership or team lead roles.

• Essential prior experience in SaaS or fast-growing technology environments; understanding of how a global, multi-entity People function operates and the challenges that arise at scale.

• Extensive, hands-on experience with AI tools, agent builders, and agentic workflows, having personally built, deployed, and maintained agents for real operational tasks rather than just experimenting.

• Strong technical instincts: proficient with APIs, integrations, automation platforms (such as Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar), and prompt engineering as essential skills rather than ancillary ones.

• Multi-country HR Operations experience is highly preferred but not mandatory, ideally involving some combination of the US, UK, Australia/NZ, Canada, and the Philippines.

• Demonstrated ability to redesign operational processes from the ground up rather than making incremental improvements, with a clear preference for automation over increasing headcount.

• Working knowledge of US benefits administration, including open enrollment, carrier management, and compliance (ACA, ERISA basics).

• Familiarity with HR compliance across various jurisdictions, with the discernment to know when AI can handle a compliance task and when human oversight is necessary.

• Strong data fluency: capable of building operational dashboards, interpreting funnel metrics intuitively, and utilizing AI to analyze data more comprehensively than tools alone permit.

• A systems thinker who can maintain a holistic operational view across People Ops, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits simultaneously, and design how they interconnect.

• A player-coach mindset: experienced enough to operate autonomously, willing to execute and deliver work personally, with the ambition and desire to grow a pillar as we scale.

• Unwavering integrity, high emotional intelligence, and discretion regarding sensitive employee and candidate information.

• Genuine enthusiasm for the potential of AI in the People function, accompanied by a strong perspective on what an AI-native HR operation should resemble.
