This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Take charge of essential HR operations throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
• Assist managers and employees with performance management and employee relations issues.
• Collaborate with EOR providers and contractors across various jurisdictions, adeptly managing the complexities of a multi-country European workforce.
• Partner with Finance on contractor and payroll-related activities, ensuring precision and timely execution.
• Create and document scalable HR workflows, transforming manual processes with structured, AI-enhanced solutions.
• Develop and sustain people operations tools and automations, including integrations with HiBob, Notion, Slack, and other internal systems.
• Discover opportunities to utilize AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency—and take action to implement them.
• Over 5 years of experience in People Operations or HR within a tech company (SaaS, fintech, or a similar sector).
• Proven experience in a scale-up or startup setting—you understand the importance of building processes rather than merely executing them.
• Solid understanding of the complexities of European employment, including multi-country workforces, EOR models, and contractor management.
• Demonstrated capability to thrive in a fully remote, asynchronous-first team environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a keen aptitude for numbers.
• Strong sense of ownership: when you identify a problem, you take initiative to solve it and document the solution.
• Proficient in using AI tools for drafting, research, and building—and eager to explore further advancements.
• Previous experience in larger organizations (approximately 1,000 to 5,000 employees) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with payroll processes or management of payroll providers is a plus.
