Senior People Business Partner, R&D

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with R&D leaders to create high-performing, inclusive teams by aligning the people strategy with both technical and business objectives.

• You will work alongside leaders throughout Slice's R&D organization, offering strategic advice and daily support regarding the people-related challenges associated with building and scaling high-performing technical teams.

• Guide managers in areas such as performance, organizational design, talent planning, employee relations, and change management.

• Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Compensation, Finance, and Legal to implement consistent People programs that cater to our global workforce.

• Utilize people data and insights to inform recommendations and enhance team effectiveness.

• Assist leaders in navigating how AI and evolving work methodologies influence teams, roles, and skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a People Business Partner in a dynamic or scaling environment.

• Experience supporting Engineering, Product, or other technical teams.

• Strong expertise in core People Partner disciplines, including performance management, employee relations, organizational design, talent planning, compensation, and talent reviews.

• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and guide leaders through complex people issues.

• Extensive experience in organizational design and workforce planning, with the capability to assist leaders in team structure, succession planning, and talent decisions.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional People initiatives from inception to execution.

• A data-informed approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the confidence to influence and constructively challenge.

• Familiarity with UK employment law.

• Comfortable operating in uncertain situations and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
