This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the People Business Partner for a designated region, translating business objectives into actionable People strategies.
• Collaborate with Market Owners and hospital leaders to enhance hospital performance, leader effectiveness, talent health, retention, engagement, and the VEGgie experience.
• Allocate significant time in hospitals throughout the region to cultivate trusted relationships and align People support with field realities.
• Guide leaders through performance management, employee relations, conflict resolution, engagement issues, challenging conversations, and sensitive personnel matters.
• Assist with talent reviews, succession and development planning, engagement surveys, performance evaluations, retention strategies, compensation assessments, and the adoption of growth plans.
• Leverage people data and field insights to identify potential risks, diagnose fundamental issues, and offer practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with People COEs, Talent, Legal, VQ, and regional operations teams to facilitate change adoption and implement People initiatives.
• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources / People roles, including HRBP or People Business Partner roles.
• Experience in supporting distributed, field-based, multi-site environments in healthcare, retail, hospitality, veterinary, or similarly high-growth sectors is highly preferred.
• Strong business acumen linking People decisions to operational results.
• Credibility to influence senior field leaders, constructively challenge the status quo, coach through uncertainty, and manage high-stakes situations.
• Experience in handling complex employee relations matters, difficult discussions, documentation, HR policies, and considerations of employment law.
• Ability to identify patterns in data and field signals, diagnose root causes, and convert trends into actionable recommendations.
• Proficient in performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, development planning, engagement action planning, and coaching leaders.
• Willingness to spend considerable time in hospitals with frontline teams.
• Ability to travel 50–70% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Workday or similar HR systems is preferred.
