Senior Penetration Testing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Perform security assessments on web, mobile, and API applications, as well as network penetration testing evaluations.

• Employ both commercially available and proprietary exploitation tools for manual testing and advanced attack scenarios.

• Create and provide comprehensive security assessment reports that detail vulnerabilities and exploit information.

• Facilitate client conference calls, including project initiation, notifications of high or critical findings, and closure reviews.

• Discuss test results, evidence, reproduction procedures, and remediation advice with clients.

• Engage in proactive research to discover and comprehend emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits.

• Conduct exploitation testing and record findings for client remediation purposes.

• Operate independently as well as collaborate within a larger team environment.

• Occasional travel of up to 10% may be necessary.

• Carry out other essential responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally, 6+ years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5+ years with a Master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience.

• At least 4 years of experience in penetration testing.

• A minimum of 4 years of familiarity with at least one of the following: Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, or Burp Suite.

• Possession of offensive certifications such as CEH, WAPT, GPEN, GWAPT, GAWN, or OSCP.

• Familiarity with NetSparker and AppScan is preferred.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Linux operating system administration and internals is an advantage.

• Experience with application attack vectors, security testing methodologies, and common vulnerabilities like those listed in the OWASP Top 10.

• Technical knowledge of TCP/IP networking.

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficient in SQL and high-level programming languages.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a technical context.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

• Legal authorization to work in India without requiring employer sponsorship.
