Senior Payroll Systems Analyst – Dayforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the existing Dayforce payroll setup, data frameworks, and workflows to pinpoint issues, inconsistencies, and unnecessary complexities.

• Conduct root cause analysis for payroll errors, data problems, and process failures.

• Configure and update Dayforce directly to address issues and enhance system efficiency.

• Streamline and standardize pay rules, eligibility criteria, data structures, and reporting outputs.

• Recognize patterns and systemic challenges to avert recurring issues and minimize rework.

• Provide support for payroll operations from a systems perspective to guarantee accuracy and stability.

• Investigate and resolve challenges related to pay eligibility, data imports, integrations, and vendor files.

• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support payroll operations and facilitate decision-making.

• Convert complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and align them with system solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Dayforce payroll is required.

• Proven expertise in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and configuring Dayforce to address complex issues.

• Strong skills in root cause and impact analysis across systems and data flows.

• Experience dealing with large, intricate data sets.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.

• Familiarity with Workday HCM or other HR systems is advantageous.

• Capability to evaluate business needs against system functionalities and identify discrepancies.

• Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts in a clear and straightforward manner.

• Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to follow-through and documentation practices.
