Senior Payroll Compliance Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary resource for FLSA and California labor time regulations.

• Oversee the process of adapting to regulatory changes for payroll adherence.

• Offer enterprise-level mentorship and consultative assistance regarding pay practices.

• Manage cross-departmental projects involving HRIS, Payroll Operations, IT, Finance, and Legal.

• Design and implement an enterprise audit program.

• Create and manage a comprehensive compliance education initiative for the enterprise.

• Spearhead enterprise-wide process improvement projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in payroll compliance and operations.

• Certification as a CPP or FPC.

• In-depth knowledge of FLSA and California wage and hour regulations.

• Proven track record in managing compliance programs at an enterprise level.

• Experience in leading multi-state payroll compliance projects within medium to large organizations.

• Strong analytical and risk assessment capabilities.

• Proficiency in major payroll and timekeeping systems (Workday, SAP, ADP, Kronos/UKG, etc.).
