This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.
• Supervise the processing of payroll information for employees.
• Keep precise employee records.
• Verify and reconcile employee information, including salaries, hours worked, and deductions.
• Assist with payroll tax calculations and filings in South Korea.
• Provide assistance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries and issues.
• Ensure adherence to South Korea's payroll laws and regulations.
• Spearhead the implementation of new payroll processes and systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 3-5 years of experience in payroll within South Korea.
• Strong understanding of South Korea's payroll laws and regulations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Capability to lead and mentor junior team members.
• Fluency in both English and Korean is essential.
