This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovenia.
• Serve as a knowledgeable subject matter expert for the country.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
• Handle full end-to-end payroll processes in-house, including statutory filing requirements, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.
• Ensure complete data integrity and quality.
• Conduct payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Concentrate on KPIs and SLAs.
• Implement and enhance processes.
• Provide mentorship and support to payroll specialists.
• Serve as a backup for regional managers during their absence.
• Experience in end-to-end payroll processing in-house or at a payroll service provider.
• Familiarity with payroll best practices.
• Proficient in software tools such as Excel and Google Suite.
• Possess an analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment with a desire to make a positive impact.
• A productivity enthusiast who constantly seeks ways to enhance efficiency.
• Understand the importance and ideal of working mostly asynchronously.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Experience with remote work is not mandatory, but it is considered a plus.
