Senior Partnerships Officer, Africa

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Africa.

📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio comprising 5–8 partner organizations, cultivating strong relationships and collaborating closely with their leadership teams.

• Ensure that organizations are positioned to reach millions of children by providing timely and appropriate support to maximize impact.

• Stay informed about key developments within target markets.

• Manage funding decisions pertaining to the portfolio.

• Analyze live performance data and monitor progress against established milestones.

• Actively assist partners in scaling operations by identifying and addressing constraints that hinder their impact.

• Contribute to learning and collaboration efforts within the Prevail team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in roles related to companies or organizations that have experienced significant growth.

• Experience in the education sector and/or familiarity with government systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proven experience in influencing decisions as either an external advisor or an internal partner.

• Experience collaborating with partners, funders, and policymakers toward shared objectives.

• A consistent record of achieving results.

• Strong skills in stakeholder coordination.

• Excellent analytical abilities, with a talent for diagnosing complex issues.
