This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead the proactive generation of sales opportunities, manage the pipeline, and close deals with partners.
• Collaborate with designated sales teams to devise a regional partner growth strategy aimed at achieving software booking growth objectives.
• Create a regional partner map that details current partner capabilities, capacity, and areas for improvement.
• Develop a regional partner business plan that includes measurable goals and milestones to achieve partner-influenced revenue targets.
• Identify, recruit, and onboard essential local partners to meet or surpass planned objectives.
• Work in alignment with Cloudera’s corporate Business Development team to implement strategic partner go-to-market initiatives.
• Facilitate the creation of advanced partner solutions to enhance revenue growth.
• Maintain and provide an accurate partner sales forecast in SFDC with a four times pipeline coverage.
• Oversee regular business reviews between Cloudera and key partners.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in direct and channel sales.
• Strong comprehension of the big data software industry.
• Demonstrated channel sales/alliance experience with measurable success in executing field operations with key partners.
• A proven track record in enterprise technology sales, showcasing the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and generate new business through partnerships.
• A deep understanding of complex sales processes, with the ability to build consensus and effectively develop sponsorship to drive sales and technical certification outcomes at various levels.
• Direct experience in crafting and executing partner business plans with both global and regional partners.
• Capability to prioritize tasks, focus on details, and inspire both internal and external teams to achieve established goals.
• Ability to guide teams and projects through influence rather than direct authority.
• Exceptional communication skills and a high energy level.
• Experience in both start-up and larger corporate environments, as well as with partners of various sizes.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
• Technical proficiency is strongly preferred.
