Senior Organic Search Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive understanding of all facets of organic search, encompassing on-page, technical, off-page, and SEO content. Operate independently to innovate and develop tailored organic search strategies that assist clients in achieving their objectives.

• Familiarity with recent algorithm updates, ranking factors, and industry best practices.

• Exceptional storyteller: Capable of articulating organic search performance, its contribution to other channels in the funnel, its impact on the client's business, and suggesting next steps.

• Proficient in analytical tools essential for SEO performance and reporting, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, AHREFs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others.

• Strong time management and organizational abilities.

• Comfortable setting expectations and challenging strategy with clients when necessary.

• Excellent presentation skills, adept at customizing messages for various audiences, simplifying complex topics, and delivering actionable insights and analyses. Can effectively explain how articles/blogs support bottom-of-funnel pages to gain client buy-in for top/middle-of-funnel content.

• Effectively resolves performance and strategy challenges.

• Develops clear, strategic short-term and long-term roadmaps to achieve client goals.

• Addresses client challenges related to the channel, proactively identifies solutions, and creates organic search blueprints and schedules. Manages accounts with the highest workflow volume or complexity, receiving positive feedback (including a mix of enterprise, growth, and core accounts).

• Thinks beyond existing organic search deliverables to drive impactful results.

• Sets organic search goals and forecasts for various scenarios, knowing when to adapt or re-forecast as necessary.

• Capable of delegating tasks with clear direction, proactively identifying workflows suitable for support resources.

• Leads training sessions and plays an active role in the development of team members within the department.

• Skilled in building rapport to establish client trust as an organic search authority.

• Introduces new SEO and content strategies to foster the growth of the organic search service offering.

• Identifies content gaps, aligns content initiatives with key business priorities and core SEO pages, and proposes new content strategies.

• Consistently recognizes cross-channel strategies and collaborations on accounts to enhance performance.

• Regularly meets channel goals across all accounts or suggests strategic pivots to improve channel performance.

• Achieves 100% completion of Power Digital processes weekly (Asana, Slack, novaPulse, etc.).

• Conducts thorough quality assurance to prevent errors that could negatively impact client revenue.

• Completes Power Circuit tasks and adopts necessary practices.

• Delivers all projects and launches on time.

• Utilizes AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes.

• Effectively utilizes Power Digital's Nova ecosystem in relation to the department.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in an SEO-focused role.

• In-depth understanding of all components of organic search, including on-page, technical, off-page, and SEO content. Aligning SEO and content efforts with key business focuses. Work independently to innovate and develop customized organic search strategies to help clients meet their goals, supporting client retention.

• Advanced knowledge and experience with analytical tools necessary for SEO performance and reporting, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, AHREFs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others. Stay updated on industry best practices and the evolving SERP landscape.

• Ability to provide constructive and positive feedback to team members supporting accounts. Experience in training other team members is a plus.

• Strong time management and organizational skills for developing roadmaps, planning deliverables, delegating tasks, and reviewing work.

• Proactive and solutions-oriented problem solver for both client accounts and internal matters. Team player mentality is essential.

• Exceptional storyteller with strong presentation skills, capable of tailoring messages to diverse audiences, simplifying complex topics, and delivering actionable insights and analyses.
