Senior Organic Search Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• In-depth knowledge of all facets of organic search, encompassing on-page, technical, off-page, and SEO content. Operate independently to innovate and develop tailored organic search strategies that assist clients in achieving their objectives.

• Awareness of the latest algorithm changes, ranking determinants, and industry standards.

• Exceptional storyteller: Capable of articulating organic search performance, its impact on various funnel stages, its influence on the client's business, and suggesting actionable next steps.

• Proficient in utilizing analytical tools essential for SEO performance and reporting, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, AHREFs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Comfortable establishing expectations and providing constructive feedback on strategy to clients when necessary.

• Excellent presentation skills to customize messages for different audiences, simplify complex topics, and deliver actionable insights and analyses. Can effectively explain how articles or blogs contribute to supporting bottom-of-funnel pages to gain client approval for top- and middle-funnel content.

• Addresses performance and strategy challenges through problem-solving.

• Develops clear, strategic short- and long-term roadmaps to achieve clients' goals.

• Manages client challenges related to the channel, proactively seeking solutions and creating organic search Blueprints and Schedules. Oversees accounts with the highest workflow volume or complexity while receiving positive feedback (a mix of enterprise, growth, and core accounts).

• Thinks beyond existing organic search deliverables to achieve significant results.

• Sets organic search goals and forecasts for various scenarios, knowing when to adapt or update forecasts as necessary.

• Capable of delegating tasks with clear guidance and proactively identifying workflows that can be managed by support resources.

• Leads training sessions and plays a vital role in the professional growth of team members within the department.

• Effectively builds rapport to establish client trust as an authority in organic search.

• Introduces new SEO and content strategies to contribute to the growth of the organic search offering.

• Identifies content gaps, aligns content initiatives with key business priorities and essential SEO pages, and proposes innovative content strategies.

• Consistently uncovers cross-channel strategies and collaborations on accounts to enhance performance.

• Regularly meets the channel's goals across all accounts or recommends strategic adjustments to boost channel performance.

• Completes 100% of Power Digital processes each week (Asana, Slack, novaPulse, etc.).

• Ensures sufficient quality assurance to prevent errors that could negatively affect client revenue.

• Achieves Power Circuit Completion / Adoption.

• Submits all deliverables and launches on time.

• Utilizes AI technologies to improve and streamline business processes.

• Leverages Power Digital's Nova ecosystem relevant to your department.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an SEO-focused role.

• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of organic search, including on-page, technical, off-page, and SEO content. Aligning SEO and content efforts with priority business focuses. Work independently to innovate and develop bespoke organic search strategies that aid clients in achieving their goals while maintaining client retention.

• Advanced knowledge and practical experience with analytical tools necessary for SEO performance and reporting, including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, AHREFs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others. Staying updated with industry best practices and the evolving SERP landscape.

• Capacity to provide constructive and positive feedback to team members who support accounts. Bonus if you have experience in training other team members.

• Strong time management and organizational skills concerning strategy roadmapping, planning deliverables, delegating tasks, and reviewing outcomes.

• Proactive and solution-oriented problem solver concerning both client accounts and internal situations. Possesses a team-player mentality.

• Exceptional storyteller with strong presentation skills, able to tailor messages for various audiences, simplify complex topics, and deliver actionable insights and analyses.
