• Collaborate with supply chain leadership (planning, procurement, inventory, order management, logistics, manufacturing) to gain insights into business procedures and challenges.
• Facilitate the gathering of requirements, create process maps, conduct gap analyses, and determine decisions regarding configuration versus customization.
• Design and set up Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules such as Inventory (INV), Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO), iProcurement, Receiving, Work in Process (WIP), Bills of Material (BOM), Cost Management, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)/MRP, and Warehouse Management (WMS) as needed.
• Develop functional specifications for integrations, interfaces, reports, conversions, and extensions (FBDI, SQL, PL/SQL, APIs, Web Services, flat-file, EDI).
• Work closely with developers and integration teams to guarantee that solutions align with functional requirements; review technical designs and partake in code/solution walkthroughs.
• Establish and carry out test plans: unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT); manage defect triage and resolution.
• Assemble and present training materials, conduct training sessions, and create user documentation and SOPs.
• Assist in cutover planning and execution for deployments and upgrades.
• Investigate production issues, carry out root-cause analyses, and suggest fixes and process enhancements.
• Keep abreast of Oracle EBS patches and module-specific upgrades; advise on potential upgrades or new features that could be advantageous.
• Guide junior analysts and provide insights on best practices and governance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of experience in implementing/supporting Oracle EBS Supply Chain modules; a minimum of 3 years in a senior or lead analyst position is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time, with up to 50% travel during project execution.
• Must possess the ability to identify customer needs and understand how to deliver business value through well-designed solutions.
• Capacity to learn industry-specific software and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in the manufacturing and/or distribution sectors.
• Familiarity with Oracle EBS 11i and R12.
• Extensive functional expertise in at least four of the following areas: Inventory, Order Management, Purchasing/Procurement, WIP/BOM, Costing, WMS, ASCP/MRP.
• Strong grasp of end-to-end supply chain processes: order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, demand planning, inventory management, and fulfillment.
• Practical experience in producing functional designs, test scripts, user guides, and training materials.
• Experience with integrations and a familiarity with Oracle Adapter frameworks and middleware is an advantage.
• Proficiency in using Oracle SQL for troubleshooting and data analysis.
• Preferred experience with Oracle EBS upgrade projects, patching, and module enhancements.
