Senior Oracle DBA, Inglés Conversacional

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Manage, configure, update, and maintain Oracle databases.

• Oversee Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate environments.

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex performance issues and incidents.

• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump.

• Plan upgrades, migrations, maintenance, and capacity planning.

• Administer Oracle Cloud Control/OEM and Oracle tools such as SQL*Plus, DBCA, DBUA, NetMgr, and NetCA.

• Identify improvement opportunities and ensure best practices are followed.

• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and support to the team.

• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.

• Fulfill a maximum of one week of passive on-call duty per month.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.

• Proficient in Oracle architecture and administration.

• Solid experience with RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.

• Advanced knowledge of Oracle Cloud Control/OEM.

• Experience in performance tuning, backup and recovery, upgrades, and migrations.

• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.

• Conversational English is mandatory, at level B2, C1, or C2.

• University degree or professional career education.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday during office hours.

• Availability for a maximum of one week of passive on-call duty per month.
