This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Manage, oversee, and sustain Oracle Database environments ensuring high availability.
• Evaluate and enhance the performance of SQL and PL/SQL queries utilized by various systems and applications.
• Create and suggest enhancements for queries, procedures, and routines with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
• Actively monitor database performance across development, staging/QA, testing, and production settings.
• Detect performance bottlenecks and execute corrective and preventive measures.
• Suggest improvements to data modeling aimed at boosting efficiency, performance, and data integrity.
• Conduct data loads, migrations, and replications between environments using Oracle administration tools.
• Evaluate technical impacts resulting from changes to database structures.
• Oversee backup policies, disaster recovery (Recovery), and service continuity.
• Implement and manage maintenance routines, updates (patches), monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Establish best practices for Oracle database administration and governance.
• Assist development teams in crafting solutions that adhere to database best practices.
• Technical Knowledge
• - Oracle Database administration (11g, 12c, 19c or higher).
• - Advanced SQL and PL/SQL.
• - Performance tuning (SQL Tuning and Performance Tuning).
• - Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• - Oracle Data Pump (Export/Import).
• - RMAN (Recovery Manager).
• - Oracle ASM (Automatic Storage Management).
• - Oracle RAC.
• - Oracle Data Guard.
• - Oracle GoldenGate (desirable).
• - Table and index partitioning.
• - Management of Tablespaces, Datafiles, and Redo Logs.
• - Oracle Optimizer statistics.
• - DDL, DML, DCL and TCL.
• - Relational and multidimensional data modeling.
• - ETL and data integration.
• - Experience with very large databases (VLDB).
• - Performance monitoring and diagnostics.
• - Backup, restore and recovery.
• - Linux/Unix for Oracle environment administration.

• - Oracle OCA or OCP certifications.
• - Experience with Oracle Exadata.
• - Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• - Experience with automation using Shell Script or Python.

• - Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA).
• - Experience in administration, monitoring, support, performance, and optimization of Oracle databases in corporate mission-critical environments.
