Senior Occupational Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Perform specialized seating and postural evaluations for individuals with intricate clinical requirements, accompanied by comprehensive written reports and recommendations.

• Offer expert clinical advice concerning seating, positioning, pressure care, and mobility as inquiries arise.

• Assist Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Case Managers, and healthcare teams in selecting and prescribing appropriate products.

• Conduct joint visits, demonstrations, and clinical consultations alongside HSE Occupational Therapists and product specialists.

• Create and present educational webinars, workshops, training sessions, and continuing professional development (CPD) events.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals, community services, hospitals, and care providers.

• Contribute to product development and innovation by offering clinical insights and market feedback.

• Represent Accora at conferences, exhibitions, and professional gatherings.

• Aid in the development of clinical resources, best practice guidance, and educational materials.

• Collaborate with commercial and customer support teams to ensure outstanding customer experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree or MSc in Occupational Therapy.

• Current registration with CORU.

• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience.

• Extensive experience in seating, postural management, and the provision of complex equipment.

• Strong knowledge of pressure care, positioning, and 24-hour postural management.

• Experience in community services, complex disabilities, rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation, or specialist seating services.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• A full clean driving license and a readiness to travel throughout Ireland, including occasional overnight stays.

• Some travel to the UK may be required.
