DBT Group Therapy Specialist – LCSW/LMHC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Engage in Rivia Mind supervision groups, participate in training sessions, and attend departmental and organizational meetings.

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy aligned with Rivia Mind's culture, values, and standards of care.

• Perform thorough intake assessments, establish accurate diagnoses, and create personalized treatment plans.

• Foster strong therapeutic relationships that enhance patient engagement, trust, and treatment progress.

• Offer holistic care by considering biological, psychological, environmental, and interpersonal factors.

• Administer psychotherapy employing evidence-based modalities, including DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other suitable methods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Current New York State License (LCSW/LMHC) is required.

• Certifications in DBT modalities are mandatory.

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience delivering psychotherapy to diverse patient populations.

• At least 3+ years of combined training and active practice of DBT psychotherapy in more than half of your sessions.

• A minimum of 1+ year of experience facilitating group therapy sessions for adult patients is essential.

• Experience in leading DBT skills groups for fellow clinicians or other evidence-based psychotherapy groups is preferred.

• Proven ability to effectively manage a consistent clinical caseload in a telehealth setting.

• Dedication to continuous learning, clinical consultation, and professional growth.

• Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

• Proficient in utilizing various technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company-wide platforms/software, and EHR systems when applicable).

• Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude are required.
