This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Reviewing and refining a diverse array of scientific documents, such as clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, publications, and presentations, to ensure compliance with quality standards and uniformity.

• Partnering with medical writers to enhance the clarity and effectiveness of scientific materials, offering advice on structure, style, and language.

• Ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory requirements, guidelines, and best practices in the fields of medical writing and publishing.

• Offering mentorship and training to junior editors and medical writers, cultivating a culture of ongoing improvement and excellence in scientific communication.

• Performing meticulous fact-checking and data verification to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of published content.

• Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and innovations in medical writing and editing methodologies.

• Engaging in the creation and execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs) pertaining to document editing and quality assurance.

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or a communications-related field.

• Significant experience in medical editing, accompanied by a robust understanding of clinical research and regulatory documentation.

• Outstanding editing and proofreading abilities, with a sharp attention to detail and the capacity to improve the clarity and effectiveness of scientific content.

• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and conventions of scientific writing, with experience in utilizing editing style guides.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in editing software and tools, as well as document management systems.

• Proven capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
