This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Reviewing and refining a diverse array of scientific documents, such as clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, publications, and presentations, to ensure compliance with quality standards and uniformity.
β’ Partnering with medical writers to enhance the clarity and effectiveness of scientific materials, offering advice on structure, style, and language.
β’ Ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory requirements, guidelines, and best practices in the fields of medical writing and publishing.
β’ Offering mentorship and training to junior editors and medical writers, cultivating a culture of ongoing improvement and excellence in scientific communication.
β’ Performing meticulous fact-checking and data verification to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of published content.
β’ Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and innovations in medical writing and editing methodologies.
β’ Engaging in the creation and execution of standard operating procedures (SOPs) pertaining to document editing and quality assurance.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or a communications-related field.
β’ Significant experience in medical editing, accompanied by a robust understanding of clinical research and regulatory documentation.
β’ Outstanding editing and proofreading abilities, with a sharp attention to detail and the capacity to improve the clarity and effectiveness of scientific content.
β’ In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and conventions of scientific writing, with experience in utilizing editing style guides.
β’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
β’ Proficiency in editing software and tools, as well as document management systems.
β’ Proven capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
