Senior Network Security Engineer – DGX Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the network architecture team to evaluate and provide feedback on network designs.

• Take the lead in the deployment, management, and troubleshooting of firewall, load balancing, and IDS/IPS solutions.

• Enhance the security feature set utilizing telemetry and advanced analytics.

• Establish and uphold comprehensive security guidelines for deployments.

• Manage a rigorous vulnerability management process, including patching and bug scrubs.

• Develop Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies for various services.

• Act as a key stakeholder in security reviews and ACL approvals.

• Direct incident response activities by investigating security alerts.

• Collaborate with the global operations team to ensure the availability of necessary operational tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in secure cloud-native and hybrid network architectures across major Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and OCI.

• Skilled in the secure deployment and management of Fortigate (FortiManager), Arista, Cisco, and Cumulus OS devices.

• Extensive operational knowledge of IDS/IPS, SSL inspection, URL filtering, and anti-malware/bot mitigation strategies.

• Strong grasp of network virtualization concepts (VRFs, VxLAN) and CSP-specific virtualized firewall deployments.

• Proficient in dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.

• Experience in managing logging pipelines and telemetry tools such as Splunk and Grafana.

• Over 8 years of dedicated network security experience along with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent expertise.
