Mid-level Full Stack Developer, Typescript, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications utilizing modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, Node.js) for both frontend and backend.

• Construct and maintain RESTful APIs and serverless/microservice components that are secure, efficient, and well-documented.

• Design responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces adhering to UX/UI best practices and accessibility standards (Section 508 compliance).

• Establish and manage Azure Static Web Apps while integrating with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Payload, Contentful, Strapi, Sanity, Sitecore, or similar).

• Implement and adhere to GitHub Flow branching strategies and GitOps practices for dependable, traceable deployments.

• Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and gaining insights from colleagues.

• Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum framework, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• At least 4 years of professional experience in software development.

• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript for both frontend and backend (Node.js).

• Practical experience with at least one modern frontend framework: React or Angular.

• Comprehensive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary responsive design methodologies.

• Experience in designing and utilizing RESTful APIs; knowledge of JSON and HTTP standards.

• Proficient in SQL and experienced with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).

• Familiarity with Git and GitHub Flow workflows on GitHub.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and associated tools (Jira, Confluence).
