This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the security automation strategy for intricate engagements, incorporating an audit-by-construction methodology within CI/CD pipelines to guarantee ongoing compliance.

• Design scalable security solutions tailored for both cloud-native and hybrid environments, with a focus on the architecture and governance of secure Azure Landing Zones.

• Direct the creation of enterprise-grade security platforms, engineering robust tenant isolation strategies to reduce cross-tenant risks in multi-tenant architectures.

• Enhance compliance strategy and data privacy by implementing automated mechanisms for PII protection (e.g., masking, tokenization) and preparing environments for seamless audits.

• Oversee identity and access management by developing thorough Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models that uphold the principle of least privilege across all systems.

• Mentor senior and mid-level security engineers to foster talent development.

• Manage stakeholder relationships, delivering security risk insights to leadership.

• Advocate for security automation best practices and promote continuous improvement.

• Assess emerging security technologies and threat landscapes.

• Lead red team/blue team exercises and security assessment initiatives.

• Contribute to compliance strategy and audit readiness.

• Develop security metrics and reporting frameworks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related discipline.

• At least 5-7 years of experience in network security and security automation.

• Proficiency in designing and implementing enterprise security automation platforms.

• Extensive knowledge of security operations, threat detection, and incident response.

• Experience with security architecture for cloud-native applications.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

• Advanced understanding of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.

• Experience in security risk assessment and management.

• Excellent English communication abilities.
