Network Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Establishing and executing an AI Ops network automation strategy that aligns with business and customer objectives.

• Recognizing and applying automation in areas including network provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and analytics.

• Constructing and managing on-premises AI infrastructure, featuring GPU-enabled environments utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implementing and orchestrating agentic AI systems (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).

• Integrating security best practices throughout AI pipelines (including secrets management, access control, encryption, and audit logging).

• Creating automation solutions using Python, Ansible, YAML, and incorporating them into CI/CD pipelines.

• Providing network orchestration, inventory, telemetry, and NetFlow-based analytics tailored for a carrier-grade environment.

• Working closely with global software, platform, and network engineering teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience throughout the complete software development lifecycle within a network technology context.

• Proficient in Python and automation scripting.

• Practical experience with Ansible and contemporary CI/CD processes (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins).

• Comprehensive understanding of container lifecycle management and infrastructure automation.

• Strong grounding in routing, switching, network platforms, and inventory systems.

• Experience with telemetry and high-volume network analytics.

• Preferred experience with AI/ML or AI Ops platforms.

• Management of GPU and server infrastructure.

• Customization of NetBox or similar network inventory systems.
