Network Ops & Observability Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee the monitoring strategy for a large-scale consolidation initiative at a Tier-2 telecommunications company based in the US.

• Develop and document the 'Greenfield' observability framework.

• Ensure that newly migrated locations are visible to the NOC without causing alert storms.

• Work in collaboration with cross-domain architects to make integrated design decisions.

• Assist in governance of the architecture and the establishment of enterprise architecture standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in Network Operations and Observability Architecture.

• Capability to define and document target-state observability architecture.

• Proficient in architecting alert thresholds, suppression rules, and dependency mapping.

• Familiarity with provisioning templates and API integrations.

• Collaboration experience with ITSM/ITIL Architect during the design phase.

• Strong knowledge of architecture governance and integrated design decisions.
