This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Oversee the network across IP and transmission platforms (including xWDM), along with the underlying infrastructure (sites, owned and leased fiber).
• Respond to alarms that indicate both service-impacting and potential service-impacting issues.
• Initiate and conduct troubleshooting of faults and outages across the relevant platforms.
• Resolve incidents at the first line when possible, reducing the need for escalation to second-level support.
• Take complete ownership of incidents and drive them towards resolution and restoration.
• Collaborate with third-party providers (hardware vendors, field support, network providers) during the troubleshooting process.
• Ensure precise and timely documentation during and after incident resolution.
• Maintain clear and structured communication with internal and external stakeholders during major incidents.
• Monitor SLA commitments, follow up on progress, and coordinate resolution across teams.
• Prepare root cause analysis and outage reports.
• Act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) during planned maintenance and outages.
• Configure and contribute to the enhancement of NOC monitoring tools and processes.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to improve troubleshooting and information sharing.
• 3–5+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or a similar environment.
• Strong technical proficiency in network troubleshooting across IP and/or transmission platforms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, and xWDM technologies.
• CCNP Enterprise level knowledge (for IP-focused roles) or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, incident management, and fault resolution.
• Familiarity with Linux/Windows environments.
• Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external providers.
• Experience in documenting incidents and maintaining clear technical reports.
• Nice-to-have skills:
• Experience with scripting (Python or Bash).
• Background in the telecom industry (TELCO).
• Experience in configuring or enhancing NOC monitoring tools.
• Experience working in an international setting.
