Senior Network Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Investigating and resolving issues related to routing and switching within extensive network environments.

• Troubleshooting problems related to backbone and fabric network topologies.

• Leading and facilitating the resolution of critical technical incidents.

• Serving as a subject matter expert during incident response and operational assessments.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining alerts, runbooks, dashboards, and monitoring solutions to enhance fault detection and operational visibility.

• Installing, configuring, and optimizing network infrastructure while creating operational tools, automation, and technical documentation to support efficient and effective operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in operating and supporting large-scale network environments.

• Proficiency in IP networking, routing, and switching, along with CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent certifications.

• Experience in operating and troubleshooting service provider networks and Internet routing protocols, including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, and MPLS.

• Familiarity with writing, modifying, and troubleshooting SQL queries.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to conduct advanced troubleshooting beyond standard procedures.
