📋 Description

• Deliver continuous operational support and management of network environments, ensuring high availability, stability, and compliance with established service levels.

• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend operational needs, business priorities, and network support requirements, ensuring services are aligned with daily business operations.

• Conduct routine health checks, audits, and operational assessments of network infrastructure to identify risks, incidents, and improvement opportunities.

• Maintain and support network configurations, documentation, and operational runbooks, ensuring accuracy and preparedness for operational and incident scenarios.

• Lead and engage in incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for intricate network issues, ensuring timely restoration and prevention of future occurrences.

• Execute network performance monitoring, capacity management, and utilization analysis to proactively tackle performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.

• Assist in change management processes, including validation, implementation, and post-change evaluation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional operational teams (service desk, system administrators, security, and application teams) to provide integrated and coordinated support.

• Implement operational best practices, standards, and compliance requirements to ensure consistency in processes and operational governance.

• Keep abreast of modern network technologies and operational trends, recommending enhancements that improve reliability, resilience, and operational efficiency.

• Offer daily guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering skill development, operational maturity, and knowledge sharing within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 6-9 years of experience in network consulting, design, and implementation, ideally in a client-facing capacity.

• Significant hands-on experience with FireMon, Check Point firewalls, and Zscaler platforms within a network security operations context.

• Proficient in network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.

• Strong knowledge of modern network technologies, including but not limited to SD-WAN, virtualization, cloud networking, software-defined networking (SDN), and network automation.

• Hands-on experience with networking equipment from leading vendors, such as Cisco, Juniper, and Arista.

• Expertise in Ansible for seamless automation of IP network configurations, optimizing the deployment and management of networking infrastructure.

• Proficient in Terraform for defining and provisioning IP network resources, ensuring consistent and scalable network architectures.

• Well-versed in cloud networking technologies and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).

• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to evaluate complex network requirements and propose effective solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Industry certifications from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Zscaler, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc., are highly preferred.
