Senior Network Engineer – Outside IR35 Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• We are looking for a skilled Senior Network Engineer to oversee the technical execution of customer projects and serve as the technical authority for network issues, escalations, and significant incidents.

• Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, and fellow engineers, you will be responsible for ensuring technical excellence, solution implementation, and comprehensive documentation, while delivering expert support across enterprise customer environments.

• This role is hands-on and customer-oriented, requiring travel to client locations throughout the UK and occasional planned work outside standard hours to facilitate change windows and critical project activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong practical experience with some or all of the following technologies:

• SD-WAN: Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet

• LAN/WLAN: Cisco, Meraki

• Security: Fortinet, Cisco Firepower

• Exceptional troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and analytical skills.

• Experience in managing critical incidents, technical escalations, and complex change requests.

• Strong skills in customer interaction and stakeholder management.

• Capability to take technical ownership and provide leadership during major incidents and project execution.

• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as needed.
