Senior Network Engineer – L2/L3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Configuring, troubleshooting, and providing support for Routing, Switching, Security, and DNS/DHCP/IPAM to meet the needs of enterprise clients.

• Remotely install, decommission, modify, and troubleshoot network elements while adhering to network standards as part of incidents, service requests, change requests, or complex project requirements.

• Collaborate with field support engineers and other stakeholders to plan and implement intricate, multi-phase changes to the customer network.

• Manage and troubleshoot complex network incidents that involve a wide range of infrastructure components and technologies while adhering to strict SLAs and timelines.

• Manage inventory and documentation, including creating, updating, and maintaining records.

• Engage with customer architects, implementation managers, vendors, operations staff, other engineering teams, and account team members to gather requirements for assigned tickets.

• Provide customer communications and document technical troubleshooting processes when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• CCNA (L2), CCNP (L3), or equivalent knowledge of networking fundamentals.

• Extensive experience with Huawei, Zscaler, Palo Alto, and Cloud connectivity.

• Proficient in LAN, WLAN, VPN, MPLS, IPSEC, GRE, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP).

• Experience in handling firewall and security incidents.

• Expertise in customer operations incident management.

• Strong communication skills.

• Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Proven experience in interacting and effectively communicating with clients during complex, high-pressure troubleshooting situations and war room scenarios.
