Datacenter Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Deploy and manage data center infrastructure

• Design and implement modern data center networks (e.g., VXLAN/EVPN fabrics)

• Work with technologies such as SD-WAN, Multicast, Cisco ACI, EVPN, VXLAN, and MPLS

• Build and deploy VXLAN-based data center designs

• Create High Level Designs (HLD) and Low Level Designs (LLD)

• Maintain and optimize network infrastructures in production environments

• Analyze and resolve complex network failures and performance issues

• Automate network configurations and deployments

• Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and infrastructure teams

• Implement security best practices within network environments

• Guide data center transitions and modernization projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with data center networking in enterprise environments.

• Minimum certification in CCNP, along with the ambition towards certifications such as JNCIP-ENT, JNCIP-DC, and experience with Arista.

• Experience with technologies such as VXLAN, EVPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, and Multicast.

• Familiarity with platforms like Cisco ACI, Juniper, and/or Arista.

• Experience in designing and implementing VXLAN data center architectures.

• Proficient in creating HLDs and LLDs.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in optimizing networks.

• Experience with automation (e.g., Python, Ansible, or similar) is a plus.

• Enjoy working in an Agile environment and familiar with Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies.

• Highly analytical and capable of understanding complex issues.

• Work independently, be proactive, and consistently focused on improvement.
