Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain a secure and dependable network infrastructure spanning offices, data centers, and multi-cloud environments.

• Oversee network health and performance utilizing tools like SolarWinds, while troubleshooting and resolving connectivity and routing challenges.

• Manage essential network services, such as firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/DHCP.

• Work collaboratively with network, NOC, and cybersecurity teams on architectural decisions and engineering projects.

• Spearhead network initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration and design.

• In-depth knowledge of core networking concepts, routing protocols, next-gen firewalls, load balancers, and DNS/DHCP.

• Practical experience with major vendors (Cisco, F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and foundational cloud networking knowledge.

• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring abilities, with a capacity to guide junior engineers in high-pressure situations.

• Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
