This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Overseeing and managing computer networks along with associated computing environments, which include systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
• Executing disaster recovery operations and performing data backups as necessary.
• Safeguarding data, software, and hardware by planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures.
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system issues through troubleshooting.
• Monitoring network performance to identify when adjustments are necessary.
• Collaborating with network users to resolve existing system issues.
• Operating master consoles to oversee the performance of networks and computer systems.
• Coordinating access and usage of the computer network.
• Providing detailed specifications for the selection of hardware and software.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as required, both locally and via air travel when necessary.
• Availability to work various shifts as needed.
• Practical experience or exposure to one or more of the following platforms: Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sonicwall, Checkpoint, Ubiquiti, HP, Dell, Aruba, Arista, VMWare/Velocloud, Silverpeak, Meraki.
• Preferred certification level of CCNA route/switch or equivalent from vendors.
• An Associate’s degree in a field related to Information Technology, ideally with a focus on network engineering.
• A solid understanding of network infrastructure along with network hardware and firmware.
• Capable of analyzing problems and visualizing solutions effectively.
• Ability to implement, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, such as wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.
• Familiarity with application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
• Proficient in creating accurate network diagrams and documentation for the design and planning of network systems.
• Quick learner of new or unfamiliar technologies and products by utilizing available documentation and resources.
• Ability to collaborate with staff at all levels within and outside of the IT department and the organization.
• A self-motivated individual capable of working independently while also being comfortable in a team setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable and adaptable when necessary.
• Experience in network security is preferred.
