Network Administrator – Hospitality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehend client requirements and assist with their IT solutions

• Offer consultancy to clients on the integration and support of leading industry technologies

• Engage in the design, deployment, and configuration of systems

• Execute and set up hotel IT systems, including PMS, POS, and guest-facing technologies

• Strategize, configure, and uphold network security components

• Deliver post-deployment support and facilitate knowledge transfer

• Work alongside project managers to ensure technical deliverables are in sync with project milestones

• Document architecture, deployment procedures, and handoff materials

• Lead discovery workshops and evaluate client environments

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong customer service aptitude (capable of treating others with respect and empathy)

• Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network +, Server +

• A minimum of 2-4 years of practical experience in a Windows-based server environment, with a solid understanding of Active Directory

• An Associate's degree in the Information Technology field or 3-5 years of experience in the technology sector

• Proficiency in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting hospitality management systems, including Property Management Systems (PMS) or Central Reservation Systems (CRS)

• Familiarity with hotel-specific systems such as PMS (e.g., Opera, Micros) and POS systems

• Experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Point of Sale (POS) systems used in retail and hospitality environments

• Knowledge of basic L2/L3 network topology, troubleshooting, and network technologies, including but not limited to DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN, BGP, and IPSEC
