Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing and supporting network needs for the migration of local data centers to the Azure cloud as part of an international data center transition project.

• Collaborate and carry out network-focused tasks within a global infrastructure team.

• Drive automation initiatives in network operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and APIs.

• Maintain proper documentation and standardization of network configurations.

• Develop secure networking and firewall policies for the cloud environment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues alongside other experts in 3rd level support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a Network Engineer.

• In-depth knowledge of enterprise network environments and management, with a strong emphasis on network security including firewalling and tunneling.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform and Ansible).

• Advanced understanding of cloud networking, particularly with Azure.

• Experience with AI applications in network security settings is an advantage.

• Excellent communication skills in diverse international environments.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
