Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee physical network management and support for Guidepoint offices, including—though not limited to—firewalls, routers, switches, and more.

• Take charge of the Enterprise WiFi Operations management.

• Manage ZScaler Network services.

• Monitor global traffic latency, issues, and application performance.

• Update and design next-generation network models.

• Implement network detection and response strategies.

• Utilize intrusion detection and prevention technologies.

• Integrate Azure Cloud Traffic with on-premise traffic.

• Ensure Azure Web Security is maintained.

• Apply CASB models and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in core networking within an enterprise setting, preferably with global network design and security methodologies.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with advanced Azure cloud networking technologies is essential.

• Extensive experience in managing WiFi Operations is required.

• Mandatory 3+ years of practical experience with Sonic-wall/Netgear.

• Proficient knowledge of telecommunication technologies, including VOIP, SIP Trunking, and Microsoft Teams.

• Strong engineering background in routing, switching (VLANs), Azure networking, firewalls, and traffic management.

• Capable of updating network security based on VNETs and subnets, along with traffic monitoring.

• Familiarity with Azure Application Gateways, Front Door, and various security tools.

• Experience in network security, including vulnerability management and penetration testing skills.

• Ability to optimize application traffic in high-latency environments, such as China.
