Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Deliver L1, L2, and L3 network support for enterprise networking environments.

• Oversee, diagnose, and resolve network incidents within established SLAs.

• Identify and rectify issues pertaining to LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching.

• Configure, maintain, and support Cisco routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure.

• Conduct network health assessments, maintenance, upgrades, and configuration modifications.

• Assist with firewall connectivity and fundamental network security troubleshooting.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and knowledge base entries.

• Collaborate directly with clients to address technical issues and provide timely status updates.

• Work alongside internal teams and external vendors during incident resolution and scheduled maintenance.

• Engage in on-call support and planned maintenance activities as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.

• CCNA Certification (Required).

• CCNP Certification (Preferred).

• 3–7 years of experience in enterprise network support.

• Strong understanding of:

• TCP/IP, Routing & Switching.

• VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP.

• VPN technologies.

• DNS, DHCP, NAT.

• Cisco routers, switches, and wireless solutions.

• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.

• Capacity to work independently in a client-facing setting.
