Senior Network Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will safeguard the network and IT environments of our clients in the upper mid-market and enterprise sectors, with a special emphasis on Arista and Extreme, ensuring stable and secure operations.

• You will analyze and address complex incidents, challenges, and modifications within demanding network and security architectures, while developing sustainable and high-performance solutions.

• Acting as the technical liaison for our clients, you will thoroughly understand their network and security needs, creating customized concepts that range from segmentation and policy design to prompt and pragmatic solutions during outages.

• By providing organized and detailed documentation of incidents, changes, and security measures, you will maintain a consistently high standard of service and security.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of network security and contemporary network architectures, especially regarding switching and fabric technologies from Arista Networks and Extreme Networks.

• Ideally, you have acquired hands-on experience with one or both vendors.

• You are intrigued by new technologies and actively keep abreast of industry trends.

• You take responsibility for client challenges, as a temporary workaround is not an acceptable solution for you.

• As a technology-enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and approachable professional with a sense of humor, you share your expertise within the team, support knowledge development, and contribute to a respectful workplace environment.

• You possess business-fluent German and very good English proficiency.
