Senior .NET Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage integrations that connect the platform with ERP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Dynamics.

• Create and enhance REST and SOAP integrations for intricate customer environments.

• Architect synchronization, mapping, validation, and reconciliation workflows.

• Address partial failures, implement retries, ensure eventual consistency, manage idempotency, and maintain audit trails.

• Enhance the performance and reliability of integrations.

• Introduce logging and alerting mechanisms and troubleshoot root causes of integration failures.

• Collaborate with onboarding and support teams to successfully connect and launch customers.

• Participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and uphold engineering standards.

• Work closely with a Staff Engineer from the scoping phase through to production.

• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience with production systems.

• Proficient in C# and .NET, particularly in backend services and APIs.

• Demonstrated experience in integrating with ERP, accounting, or financial systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of REST and SOAP, including authentication, error handling, retries, and versioning.

• Experience in data synchronization, transformation, and reconciliation.

• Strong SQL Server expertise, encompassing query design, optimization, and data modeling.

• Familiarity with event-driven or message-based architectures.

• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bonus: hands-on experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics integrations.

• Bonus: background in fintech, payments, accounts payable, or fund administration.

• Bonus: experience with Azure, including Service Bus, Functions, or API Management.
