Senior .NET Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a product engineer dedicated to addressing genuine user and business challenges, rather than merely managing a backlog. You contribute innovative ideas, question assumptions, and take ownership of results.

• Engage in an AI-first development process. Leverage tools such as OpenAI Codex and GitHub Copilot not only to increase speed but also to enhance productivity: investigate various solutions, rapidly validate concepts, and create projects that previously seemed unfeasible.

• Primarily concentrate on backend tasks: designing, developing, and maintaining scalable services utilizing .NET 10, ASP.NET Core, and GraphQL. You are also comfortable delving into front-end tasks when necessary, as AI-assisted development allows you to deliver quality UI without being a specialist.

• Collaborate closely with a product team, typically alongside one or two other engineers on each project, tackling challenging problems together, reviewing each other’s work, and delivering solutions as a cohesive unit rather than in isolation.

• Maintain a high standard of quality. Engineers are responsible for writing their own tests at the unit, integration, and end-to-end levels, ensuring that every line of code, whether human-written or AI-assisted, undergoes human review before deployment.

• Champion technical enhancements throughout the codebase. Proactively identify areas of friction, suggest improvements, and follow through on their implementation. Act as a first responder for production issues. Utilize DataDog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Microsoft Azure to swiftly diagnose incidents, minimize impacts, and strengthen the system to prevent future occurrences.

⛳️ Requirements

• C#, ASP.NET Core: 3+ years of experience.

• Software Engineering: 5+ years of experience.

• Must reside in LATAM.

• Proficiency in English at C1 or C2 level.

• Experience in the fintech sector is a plus.

• Familiarity with developing AI-powered applications is advantageous.
