This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Participating in the development of a high-caliber trading platform ecosystem — encompassing desktop and web trading solutions as well as order management — where performance, reliability, and low latency are imperative.

• Making architectural decisions and clearly communicating them to a globally distributed team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures, applied in performance-sensitive production environments.

• Extensive practical experience with performance-critical .NET, including multithreading, memory management, allocation optimization, garbage collection tuning, and the use of Span and structs.

• Demonstrated experience in trading, fintech, high-frequency trading, or low-latency/real-time systems.

• Proven ability to make substantial architectural decisions in production settings, rather than merely implementing requirements.

• Experience in mentoring fellow developers and enhancing team engineering standards.

• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant technical discipline.

• Proficiency in English — both spoken and written, with the capability to clearly convey technical decisions during calls with a distributed team.

• Availability for a minimum of 4 hours overlap with 9 AM–5 PM EST.
